DB-L Prescribed Units

If you are applying for a domestic builder (limited) licence in Victoria, this 5 days course will provide you with the required knowledge on contracts, permits and materials ordering

Units of Competency

  • CPCCBC4026A - Arrange building application and approvals

  • CPCCBC4003A - Select and prepare a construction contract

  • CPCCBC4005A - Produce labour and materials schedules for ordering

Trades Registration Course | Origin Institute

This short course (prescribed units) is designed to help limited trades to meet the skills and knowledge requirements before applying for the Domestic Builder - Limited licence. This 5 days course includes 3 units which also known as prescribed units on DB-L Application Form from Victorian Building Authority.

Student may choose to under take all 3 units or CPCCBC4026A only. Origin Institute has intakes every 1-2 weeks, please refer to the class schedule below to make booking.

Mode of Delivery:

  • Face to face class or online virtual class for 5 weeks (1 day equivalent per week).

  • Assessment to be submitted on online learning management system.

Entry Requirements:

  • at least 16 year of aged

  • Basic English skills include reading, writing and oral communication

  • Equipped with a laptop or desktop with webcam.

  • Only $995 for all 3 units

  • $395 for CPCCBC4026A only

  • $595 for CPCCBC4003A or CPCCBC4005A only
